A major housing development in North Reddish is now complete.
Stockport Homes' unveiled 51 new homes developed on the former site of Fir Tree Primary School.
The Fir Tree development has been part funded by the Homes and Communities Agency and has seen Stockport Homes work with Stockport Council and Seddon Construction to deliver 29 two-bedroom houses, 21 three-bedroom houses and one four-bedroom house.
The new homes meet level three of the Code for Sustainable Homes, setting strict standards in six categories, which include low CO2 emissions, ecological impact, and resident health and wellbeing.
A total of 15 of the properties are for shared ownership, supporting local people to gain a foothold on the housing ladder, with the remaining 36 properties being available to rent.
Roger Phillips, Chair of Stockport Homes' Board said: "This development marks the largest to date for Stockport Homes, with 51 new build properties include fifteen for shared ownership. North Reddish is a great place to live, and it is exciting to see that 51 families will now have the opportunity to live here in these new build homes."
