A non-profitable housing association is to build 570 new homes in Knowsley, Merseyside.
The announcement from KHT also includes 251 homes for shared ownership and outright sale, as part of the total 570 new homes being delivered across the borough by the First Ark Group, over the next three years.
Each KHT project will regenerate and develop the area in which it is situated, providing employment opportunities, quality housing and growth for its occupants, and ensuring the continual success of neighbouring communities.
The plans include the Extra Care housing development at Bluebell Park, Huyton, which comprises 122 apartments for residents aged 55 and over.
Once construction is completed, Bluebell Park will provide onsite facilities such as a community centre, as well as tailor-made care for its individual residents. Built to 'HAPPI' design principles, the properties will also incorporate eco-friendly features into each home's specification to reduce energy bills.
