A housing association in Petersborough is carrying out a development programme which will see 500 new homes built every year until 2018.

In support of the National Housing Federation's 'End the housing crisis within a generation' campaign, Cross Keys Homes has already built 1,000 new homes and last year issued the housing sector's first 'green' bond. Most of the £150m raised will be used to support the expansion of Cross Keys Homes’ development programme.

The housing association has an initial allocation of £1.3million from the Homes and Communities Agency to support its growth strategy and reach its target of 500 new homes per year in the next three years.

Director of Development and Sales David Keeling said: "I am delighted to be joining Cross Keys Homes at this time of change.

"This is an exciting time for everyone here at Cross Keys Homes and I am really enthusiastic about moving forward and being able to support the organisation in achieving its aim to provide many more homes both within Peterborough and the surrounding counties."
