Construction firm Bouygues UK is to develop over 80 new homes in the London Borough of Greenwich for housing provider Family Mosaic.
The £20m Creek Road development will provide a combination of 83 homes, of which 62 will be for affordable housing. The development will also include 1,800 sq m of commercial space at ground level and involves the demolition and removal of the derelict homes and a disused car wash currently on the site.
The front of the Up the Creek Comedy Club will also be renovated as part of the plans. The homes will be built to Level 4 Code for Sustainable Homes.
Demolition and excavation work is currently underway at the site and construction is scheduled to begin soon.
The new homes are due for completion in late 2016.
