Housing Association, Axiom, has scooped an award for best social housing development in Netherton.
The scheme in Cottesmore Close includes 31 apartments within Anson House and Harvard House. Axiom won the award as part of the city council's Peterborough Development and Environment Awards 2014.
The blocks are fitted with roof-mounted photovoltaic solar panels, which supply power to the communal areas reducing the development's overall energy demand.
Alan Lewin, Axiom's Chief Executive, said: "This is an excellent achievement for David Turnock Architects and ourselves, which really sets us apart from all other social housing schemes in the city of Peterborough. I am delighted and very proud for all those involved in making this scheme such a success."
