Work To Start On £3m Development In Mansfield

Contractors Wates Living Space are to start work on a £3 million development in Forest Town, Mansfield, on 8th December.

The scheme will see 17 new bungalows being developed on Flint Avenue.

The project includes a one-bed and sixteen two-bed properties, four of which will be wheelchair accessible. The community centre will also be refurbished.

The development is expected to be complete in November 2015.

Joanne Jamieson, Regional Managing Director for Wates Living Space said: "We are pleased to be developing our relationship with Mansfield District Council by commencing work on this important project for the Forest Town area. We always seek to leave a legacy beyond building in the communities in which we work and are looking forward to engaging with local residents and businesses in due course."
