4,000 New Homes To Be Developed In Hull

A joint consortium of developers has been appointed to deliver 4,000 new homes in Hull.

Hull City Council has teamed up with KHSP, which consists of housing developers Keepmoat Limited and Strata Homes Limited, housing provider Home Group Limited and commercial property specialists 'Priority Space'.

Councillor John Black, Portfolio Holder for Council Infrastructure and responsible for housing, said: "The appointment of this consortium is a key milestone for Hull.

"We are looking forward to working with them in what will be one of the biggest housing regeneration projects the city has seen.

"One of the consortium's strengths is its approach to delivering local labour and creating apprenticeship opportunities. This is key objective for the council in delivering the aspirations of creating jobs and training outlined in Hull's 10-year City Plan.

"The council recognises that the quality of its residential offer is a key factor in helping the economic performance of the city as well as producing good quality homes to meet future housing needs."
