Mount Carmel School Enjoys A New Multi-Games Area

Construction News Image
Mount Carmel Catholic College for Girls, a lead health and well-being school for Islington, has recently become the proud owner of a brand new striking blue, Playrite multi-use games pitch. Choosing a multi use games area for your facility means that you can provide year round usage and the option to offer a wider range of sports and extra-curricular activities for your school.

Mount Carmel College, after taking advice from a sports consultant opted for a multi-use games area in Playrite Matchplay 2 with inlaid lines for tennis and netball. Matchplay 2 is an excellent multi sport surface and offers a more natural feel compared to other artificial products. Being sand dressed, after installation the performance characteristics are evident from day one and play can commence almost immediately. Matchplay 2 is an ideal choice for multi use games areas and can offer high performance and durability for a range of sports, particularly netball and tennis. The built in cushion layer makes for medium-paced play and is easy on player’s leg joints. Inlaid lines can be permanently added in white, yellow, red and blue. Many of Playrite’s multi sports synthetic surfaces have been installed into schools, universities and sports clubs throughout the country and are an excellent choice when an organisation needs to get the most out of their facilities. Playrite currently manufacture a range of six highly accredited sports and playing surfaces to suit a variety of different sports and applications.

The school opted for the whole pitch to be in a striking blue in colour, set off with the different coloured in-laid lines, which has created a wow factor and really sets their installation apart from other schools.
