BAM To Build Liverpool Uni Lab

Construction News Image
BAM has been selected to build a new £23m Materials Innovation Factory (MIF) at the University of Liverpool.

An existing lecture theatre will have to be demolished in order to make way for the 120,000 sq ft four-storey facility, which will also be rated BREEAM Excellent.

Work is scheduled to commence on site in November, with a completion date of July 2016.

When completed, the facility will be occupied by 140 university staff and a team of Unilever scientists from the R&D Centre for Home Care and Personal Care products.
