Ardmore Celebrate 'Topping Out' Of Canaletto Scheme

Ardmore is to join clients Orion City Road Trustee and development managers Groveworld, to celebrate the "topping out" of the Canaletto scheme on London's City Road.

The event will commemorate a key milestone in the construction of the £60m scheme, as the highest structural point of the 96m tall building is completed.

Architect Ben van Berkel of UNStudio will mark the occasion by placing the final element of the structure on Thursday 23 October.

Ardmore has delivered 190 high-specification private residential units, in a mix of 1, 2, 3 and 4 bedroom apartments. These include large penthouse apartments and a club lounge with terrace on the 24th floor for use by residents. Within the basement area, there will be a residents' swimming pool, spa, gym and cinema.

Ardmore was appointed as main contractor to deliver the 31-storey prime residential tower in May 2013 and the project is due for completion in late 2015.
