Hospital In Chesire To Be Redeveloped

A contract to design and build a three-storey multi-use healthcare block for Stepping Hill Hospital has been awarded to Vinci Construction UK and Sir Robert McAlpine, a joint venture (JV).

Stockport NHS Foundation Trust has awarded Integrated Health Projects (IHP) appointd the developers.

The new development will include an acute medical unit, surgical assessment unit, and two operating theatres with recovery facilities.

The contract will be completed in March 2016 and has been awarded under ProCure 21+, a national framework involving six supply chain partners across England until 2016.
