Building firm Seddon has appointed a new Regional Director for the Midlands.

Eamonn Burns has been selected to aid the firm's expansion in the region.

Seddon would like to boost its turnover in the region to £100 million over the next five years, with Mr Burns heading up the team across two offices.

He will work alongside Regional Manager Ian Calder, who was appointed by Seddon to head up new build housing and refurbishment in the Midlands in 2012.

In his former role as Operations Director at Wilmott Dixon, Mr Burns was responsible for the growth of the company’s Birmingham Housing Unit into a business with a turnover of more than £55 million.
