Mace To Deliver Redevelopment Of BBC Television Centre

Mace is to deliver the £400m redevelopment of the BBC Television Centre in west London for developer, Stanhope.

The building will be transformed into a major mixed-use development, including a business hub for the creative industries, a hotel, cinema, gym, restaurants and cafés, as well as 950 homes.

Construction is scheduled to start in 2015 and enabling works will commence shortly to ensure that key elements of the first phase of the scheme will be completed and occupied in 2017.

Chief Executive Officer for Mace, Mark Reynolds, said: "Continuing our long established relationship with Stanhope and Mitsui Fudosan is tremendous and we are looking forward to working with AIMCo, helping everyone transform the iconic Television Centre into a vibrant new community in west London."
