The repairs and maintenance provider Kier has signed an agreement with not-for-profit housing provider Four Housing, it has been announced.
Kier will provide homes in Berwick with a makeover as part of the £4.5m contract, which will run for three years, until 2017.
The maintenance works will include upgrades to roofs, doors, paving, kitchens and bathrooms, as well as electrical, heating and plumbing.
