OPA And Premier Oil Award Costain Contract Extensions

Costain has received two new contract extensions from The Oil & Pipelines Agency (OPA) and Premier Oil.

OPA granted Costain a one-year contract extension to its three-year asset support contract for the operation and maintenance of the Government Pipeline and Storage System.

The contract will begin in March 2015.

Premier Oil also awarded Costain an extension to its consulting contract.

The Group has worked with Premier Oil on a number of development projects in the North Sea during the past four years, and will continue to provide project and technical support across Premier Oil's assets.

Alex Vaughan, Managing Director of Costain Natural Resources, said: "These successes demonstrate the strength of our consultancy and asset management expertise in this complex and highly technical sector."
