Bovis Homes have reported a rise in pre-tax profits of 150% in the six months to June, now standing at £49.4m compared to £18.6m for the same period last year.
It is understood that the there has been an increase in both the number and value of houses being sold.
The company say that in the first half of 2014, the completed 1,487 property sales, a 54% increase on the same period a year before.
The house building company said that it expects to see new property sales increase to between 5,000 and 6,000 annually.
