Over 600 new homes are to be built in Liverpool over the next four years.
£14 million of Government money has been secured to build the 646 properties.
Four Housing Associations have secured the funding from the Homes and Community Agency (HCA) . They are: Riverside; Liverpool Housing Trust; Liverpool Mutual Homes (LMH) and Plus Dane.
The homes will be a mix of two, three and four bedroom houses and one and two bedroom apartments. Some will feature energy saving technologies to give tenants cheaper fuel bills.
