The 2014 winners of the Construction News Awards have been announced.
With the highest number of entries since the awards began, the panel of 60 judges are said to have had an "extremely challenging" decision.
Finalists were invited to conduct face-to-face interviews with members of the esteemed judging panel, which included senior figures from 20 major clients, as well as consultants, contractors, institutions and government. With such a rigorous judging process to decide the winners, the Construction News Awards winners are truly deserving of their award.
Rebecca Evans, Editor, Construction News commented: "As the market and the mood in construction continue to improve, it's essential for companies to find ways to differentiate themselves. No matter where businesses are in the supply chain - contractor, subcontractor or client - they need to convince people that they are the best people to work with. That's what the Construction News Awards are all about.
"All Construction News Awards finalists are at the most progressive end of the industry, constantly striving to improve their businesses and their work, understanding that they can never stand still when it comes to seeking out and implementing new innovation.
"Our unique face to face judging process ensures real rigour in the selection of the winners - these projects and companies really are the very best of a fantastic industry, setting the standard for the future. Huge congratulations to this year's winners."
