One of the north of England's most prominent exhibitions for engineering and manufacturing technology, Northern Manufacturing & Electronics 2014, returns to Manchester's EventCity on October 1 and 2.
EventCity is one of the UK's newest exhibition facilities. Manufacturing in the north west of England generates £20bn annually and employs some 400,000 people.
"The exhibitor list features numerous stand-out names from the world of engineering, including some of the world's largest machinery and industrial equipment manufacturers, alongside the cream of the North's engineering sector," a statement from the organisers said.
Northern Manufacturing & Electronics 2014 will also allow visitors the opportunity to up-skill, due to the free technical seminar programme that runs over both days of the show. A collection of one-hour sessions provided by experts touches on a range of technical and operational topics such as Lean, CE Marking, product development and marketing. Presenters this year include The CE Marking association, Lucid Innovation and OptimumFX.
Admission to Northern Manufacturing & Electronics 2014 is free to business visitors, and EventCity offers 3,000 free on-site car parking spaces.
