Greenworks Joins Stroma In New Training Partnership

Greenworks Training Academy and Stroma Certification have announced a new series of training and software-led projects to improve the qualifications and skills held by assessors and installers in the construction and energy industries.

The announcement follows the recent launch of government initiatives such as the Green Deal Home Improvement Fund (GDHIF) and the Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI).

Greenworks have been working in partnership with Stroma since 2011, and have conducted over 65,000 hours of training courses, they said.

The cooperation will seek to provide a programme of training, CPD courses and software tutorials delivered by Stroma's technical experts via the Greenworks network.

Matt Ferguson from Stroma said: "We are delighted to be continuing and extending our close partnership with Greenworks. Through our coordinated efforts with Greenworks we have been able to utilise the authority and reputation that Stroma has built within the marketplace in order to provide relevant, invaluable support for trade professionals, operating in energy efficiency, renewable energy and sustainability environments."

Marcus Jefford from Greenworks said: "The recent announcements regarding the domestic RHI and Green Deal Home Improvement Fund means demand for premium installer, advisor and assessor training has never been higher. Our collaboration with Stroma means our comprehensive training programme remains one of the strongest in the industry."
