Laing O’Rourke and Imtech and Atkins have been appointed to United Utilities' AMP6 framework.

The company today announced LiMA, a partnership of Laing O’Rourke, Imtech and Atkins, as one of four construction delivery partners for the next capital investment period (2015 to 2020).

Laing O’Rourke managing director of Infrastructure Gary Wells said: "We’re delighted to be forming a new relationship with United Utilities under the LiMA partnership, as a construction delivery partner of the AMP6 framework."

Martin Bradbury, Laing O’Rourke’s water sector leader said: "Over the next five years and beyond we hope to harness and build on our existing experience and relationships, to provide innovative solutions that deliver value for United Utilities and a world class water infrastructure for their customers."

Steven Fraser, United Utilities managing director, commented: "Today’s announcement is the result of a lengthy, robust and rigorous selection process and we’re confident that these are the right partners to help deliver real improvements for our customers and the environment during AMP6 and beyond."
