Lakesmere Secures £1.8m Roofing Contract

The Lakesmere Group is working with main contractor Kier to redevelop the Grade II listed Midland Goods Shed and East and West Handyside Canopies.

Lakesmere is in charge of the design and installation of approximately 4,500m² of Kalzip aluminium acoustic roof to the Midland Goods Shed and adjacent Handyside Canopies.

The £1.8 million roofing contract will also see Lakesmere use non-penetrative methods to install cold rolled purlins to the existing refurbished trusses, which date back to 1888.
