The Construction Industry Council (CIC) has appointed a new Chair of the CIC Adjudicator Nominating Body (AMB) Management Board.

Mr Niall Lawless is to work on the board for three years.

Mr Lawless is a member of a number of important industry Adjudicator Nominating Body panels, and a member of the £16 billion Crossrail Adjudication Panel.

The CIC ANB Management Board acts as the reference point within CIC for all issues and matters relating to adjudication that affect CIC’s members. This includes maintaining the CIC’s Register of Adjudicators and making nominations, overseeing the continued publication and updating of the CIC Model Adjudication Procedure, and collecting and publishing data on adjudication.

Mr Lawless said: "As the CIC ANB Management Board is looking for new members, I would like to call members of CIC member organisations who are interested in being part of the new CIC ANB Management Board to come forward."
