BEW Electrical Distributors Named 'Best Electrical Wholesaler'

BEW Electrical Distributors has scooped the 'Best Electrical Wholesaler' at the Electrical Wholesaler Awards.

As in the boxing world, in the electrical wholesaling world there's more than one title up for grabs, in fact there are two, promoted and judged by two separate well respected bodies. The EW Awards vindicated the firms win at the Electrical Industry Awards and it now holds both titles making BEW Electrical Distributors the 'Undisputed Electrical Wholesaler of the Year'.

In the category of 'Branch Manager of The Year', BEW Electrical Distributors Wandsworth Manager, Paul Clancey, was Highly Commended.

The first Electrical Wholesaler Awards, organised by Datateam Business Media Ltd, took place at The Tower Hotel, London on 20 May, when 180 industry professionals gathered for a glittering awards ceremony, hosted by Ian Moore.

Judging for the wholesaler award categories was entirely independent and based on the decision of an invited panel of judges under the chairmanship of Tracey Rushton-Thorpe, Editor of Electrical Wholesaler Magazine.

BEW Electrical Distributors Chairman, Phil Webb, said: "I'd like to thank the EW Awards team for a great night. Some of the industry's biggest companies participated and were in attendance, so it was most gratifying for us to climb on that stage in front of our peers and collect our well-deserved award. A word of thanks must also go to all of our staff, customers and suppliers for getting us to the top and keeping us there. This award is for them."
