Building work on a new primary school in Leicestershire is well underway.
Rothley Church of England Primary School has been at the heart of the local community for the past 112 years and with the increase in housing within the village, the school has made the difficult decision to move to a bigger site in order to grow alongside the village it has served for so long.
The new school, developed by building contractor Mi-space, part of The Midas Group, has been made possible thanks to a £5.5m investment from Persimmon Homes which is currently building the new Charles Church housing development in Rothley.
The work is expected to be complete by January 2015.
