Lovell has held a consultation event to ensure local people are kept up to date on the building of new homes for Beacon Barracks in Stafford.
Over 200 residents were invited to the event as well as two Councillors for the Coton ward, Cllr Sharon Hollinshead and Cllr Jack Kemp.
John Leary, Project Director for Lovell, commented: "We arranged the consultation meeting so that we could explain more about the use next year of Dickson Road as a temporary access in particular, but also to give local residents an opportunity to ask us about anything at all to do with our construction work. We always make every effort to cause as little disturbance as possible to local communities and have worked particularly hard in this case to minimise disruption. However, it is only by talking regularly to local people that we can ensure we are meeting these high standards.
"I'm pleased to say that the residents who came to the event were supportive and understood our plans and the reasons behind them, including the plans relating to Dickson Road. We were also pleased to see both ward councillors at the event and were glad to have their support."
