Skanska has been appointed to design, build and fit-out a £5.5m primary school in Bristol.
Oasis Academy Marksbury Road primary school building will will include a 60-place special educational needs provision, and extensive earthworks on the sloping site will create new playground space, habitat areas and a multi-use games area.
The delivery team will redevelop a brownfield site, as part of the South Bristol Gateway regeneration project.
Low-carbon construction methods and renewable technologies will help the building to achieve the BRE Environment Assessment Method (BREEAM) 'Excellent' rating.
