Galliford Try has scooped a £100m Extra Care Contract with Kent County Council.
The group announced it has reached financial close on the Excellent Homes for All Scheme.
An estimated 240 homes are to bee built for vulnerable adults, as well as communal facilities to be constructed by Galliford Try's Partnerships business.
Galliford Try Chief Executive Greg Fitzgerald commented: "We are delighted to have reached agreement with our partners at Kent County Council on this initiative and are now able to get the project underway."
