A number of recent deals completed by Komatsu distributor McHale Plant Sales is being highlighted as a continued growth in the plant sale sector.
Within the current quarter the Birdhill-based distributor has recorded a number of significant purchases, all of which point to an improvement in our economic conditions.
On the civil engineering side, contractor Wills Brothers of Foxford has taken delivery of two Komatsu D65PX-17 bulldozers which have been put to work on the N11 upgrade in Wicklow while Moriarty Civil Engineering of Tralee has purchased Komatsu PC360LC-10 and PC210LC-10 crawler excavators for use on their site at Rockchapel, Co. Cork.
In Limerick, tool hire specialists Paul Callinan and Ronan Keane have added to their fleets with the addition of two PC30MR-3 mini excavators and a PC55MR-3 complete with a Geith hydraulic coupler and bucket while regular Komatsu customer Davy Tool Hire of Ballina has taken delivery of two mini excavators - a PC50MR-3 fitted with roadliner track pads and a PC30MR-3 with rubber tracks and blade, both with a Geith hydraulic coupler and three buckets. On the agricultural front, seven Komatsu wheel loaders have been sold to contractors across the country in recent months, models of choice being the WA320PZ-6 and WA100M-6.
