British Land Secures TK Maxx For Shopping Centre In Barnstaple

British Land has announced that TK Maxx has signed for a 20,000 sq ft unit at the 130,000 sq ft Green Lanes Shopping Centre in Barnstaple.

TK Maxx will move to the town for the first time into a purpose-built, two-storey extension at the shopping centre on a 15 year lease. The store will carry the full TK Maxx range including womenswear, menswear, footwear and accessories. Planning approval for the unit was secured last year and construction will start in spring this year. The store is scheduled to open in spring 2015.

Ailsa Davidson, Asset Manager for British Land, said: "The arrival of TK Maxx at Green Lanes is great news, strengthening the centre's already strong fashion credentials, and demonstrating its ability to attract leading occupiers."
