Kingston University is planning to replace the existing Town House building on our Penrhyn Road campus with a new £55million landmark building which will: transform the learning experience; and help engage with the local community.

As part of the project, the frontage will be landscaped to Penrhyn Road and the space between the new building and the main Penrhyn Road building.

Julius Weinberg, Vice-Chancellor, Kingston University, said: "Great teachers make great learning. However, great learning is helped by great buildings."

The university commissioned a design team through a Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) competition and formal design started in January 2014.

The plans presented on the site represent the concept that forms the winning competition entry.
