SPIE, the independent European leader in electrical and mechanical engineering and HVAC services, energy and communication systems, has announced that Steve Gibbs has been appointed as the new Managing Director of SPIE's Facilities Services business, effective immediately.

With over 25 years’ experience in construction and facilities management, Steve is very well positioned as the new Managing Director for SPIE UK's Facilities Services division. Steve joins SPIE UK from his role as Director of Operations at Cofely Workplace (formerly Balfour Beatty WorkPlace) and has a proven record of winning and operating profitable businesses within the FM Industry in both the Public and Private Sectors.


As Managing Director of Facilities Services, Steve will work with regional teams across the UK, managing projects across the commercial, educational, industrial and public sectors to offer an overall management strategy for the holistic management of buildings.
