The Abbey Skip Hire team worked with the BBC's DIY SOS team in Bury recently.

The firm was approached by the broadcaster and asked if they could help out with their big build project in Bury.

The aim of the project is to change the lives of a local family who are living under difficult circumstances and have very little habitable space in their home. Abbey Skip Hire was thrilled to accept and put into action the planning with only a few days' notice. The build began on the 21st January and Abbey Skip Hire provided skips from the beginning to the end of the project.

Like all DIY SOS schemes, there were plenty of challenges and the whole Abbey Skip Hire team were enthusiastic about helping out with the project and aiding the DIY SOS team in building a local family a brand new home.
