Laing O'Rourke's Anna Stewart has been appointed by HM Government as a Business Ambassador, promoting British infrastructure and construction excellence in international markets.
Group Chief Executive of Britain's leading privately owned, internationally focused engineering enterprise, as a Business Ambassador, Anna will undertake at least two overseas engagements and four UK-based activities with the support of the UKTI Ministerial & Strategic Engagement Unit.
Commenting on her appointment, she said: "I'm honoured and delighted to be appointed as a Business Ambassador. It's important that we not only promote Britain as a great place to do business, but highlight the world class skills of our companies and their employees to global markets.
