Kier Group has won the Heavy Construction category at Britain's Most Admired Companies (BMAC) Awards 2013.

The BMAC Awards are run by Management Today in association with business standards company BSI, and comprise a peer review of corporate reputation in which the opinions of 200 of the UK’s largest companies are canvassed.

These companies evaluate their sector peers across nine different criteria, ranging from the firm's ability to innovate and the quality of its marketing to its financial performance and the strength of its management team. They are the only awards of their kind in the UK.

Kier Group chief executive, Paul Sheffield, commented: "I was absolutely delighted to collect this award. To be named Britain’s Most Admired Heavy Construction Company is a fantastic accolade and testament to the commitment and hard work of all our employees."
