Plans to build 187 new homes as part of the next phase of a £155m regeneration scheme in West Ealing have been given the green light.
Ealing Council has granted planning permission to A2Dominion and Rydon for Phase Two of the Green Man Lane development, which has been designed by Conran and Partners, Sir Terence Conran's architecture and design practice.
This phase of the scheme will deliver 126 private sale and 61 affordable homes. This includes a range of one, two and three-bedroom apartments and maisonettes and three and four-bedroom houses.
Work will also start on a new community walkway providing a direct link from the south to the north of the development and to the local neighbourhood, which will move through a new central park for the development.
Demolition work is set to start in April 2014, with construction to get under way in August 2014 and taking around two years to complete.
