BEW has announced that on the 24th October at The Electrical Industry Awards ceremony in the Kensington Garden Hotel, the prestigious firm scooped Wholesaler of the Year Award for the second successive year in its category (5 branches or more).
The judging of awards entries is undertaken by a panel of independent experts from across the UK electrical sector, including: JIB, ECA, NICEIC, NAPIT and ES.
The awards are moderated by the Electrical Times editor Rodney Jack. He said: "The awards are our way of recognising those in the Electrical Industry who go the extra mile to make it the best it can. BEW crowned off its 30th year by winning for the second time in succession, the judges noting their customer service, professional excellence and team work."
BEW Chairman, Philip Webb commented: "With so many 'newbies' entering the electrical wholesaling sector, BEW consolidated its position by adding its 13th branch at Cambridge; moving its Chelmsford Branch and Head Office to a fantastic new facility, which gives us twice the warehouse and office space of our old branch; as well as planning the move of our Ilford branch in 2014 to a new purpose built unit triple the original’s size. We continue to target the electrical contracting market, large and small, with our quality products; value for money and personal service. We are thrilled to have collected our second win which is a great testimony to our incredible staff, loyal customers and first rate suppliers."
