Bells have just secured the Land Securities contract to upgrade the PLC Load shedding to the iconic Land Securities St Katharines Dock site.

Following on from numerous successful new build and refurbishment projects on Land Securities project side (You could refer to Park House/62 Buckingham Gate/123 Victoria Street sites), Bells have secured the upgrading of the PLC load shedding across the 6 No. buildings for the Landlord/Life Safety System at the Thomas More Square Development for the Portfolio department.

The works are to include the installation of individual outstations to each building linking back into a dedicated Landlords Generator PLC, transferring existing and new load shedding controls from the existing BMS RPU’s to the PLC controlled outstation and then fully test and commission the system followed by site wide integrated system test. As part of the works Bells are to install the network cabling and associated cabling through the basement system linking together all the sites, equating to up to a 1,000 meters of services to be installed.

Works have commenced with a completion date for Jan 2014.
