Construction firms appointed to the £1 billion Circle framework will build new homes and carry out housing refurbishment and regeneration work for Circle Housing Group over the next four years.

Lovell has been chosen to work across all eight regions of the framework it applied for, including in Birmingham and the West Midlands. The other seven regions are north London; south London; Surrey; Essex & Hertfordshire; Bedfordshire; Norfolk & Suffolk and Cambridgeshire.

Mike Ward, Director of housing growth and mobility for Circle Housing Group, said: "Circle is stepping up its development programme over the next few years and the winning contractors will play a key role in helping us to deliver our plans.

"Competition for appointment to the framework was fierce, with almost 100 applications. This resulted in a very high standard of submissions, and Circle can be confident that we have the right mix to deliver quality homes over the next four years."
