Heaton Products Ltd, a key supplier of construction products, has announced it is one of the premier stockists of Adowax, a wax based release agent which has some great uses.

Adowax is used to seal porous plywood formwork as well as acting as a release agent for steel formwork equipment such as steel road forms. It makes sense that using a wax based release agent on steel road forms rather than mould oil. With only a shallow face to apply release agent to, it is much simpler to wipe or brush on adowax instead of getting in a mess trying to apply mould oil and wasting a significant amount.
