Nicholls & Clarke has acquired the business, Colchester Tile Supplies.

The business has been trading for 25 years as a distributor and retailer from their premises based in Colchester, Essex. Colchester Tiles have a fleet of 8 commercial lorries distributing throughout Norfolk, Suffolk, Essex and London. Colchester Tiles will now benefit from increasing its stock levels significantly with an investment into a new tile and bathroom showroom. The new move will increase the number of N&C Tile and Bathroom showrooms to 16 nationwide. The investment by the Nicholls & Clarke Group is the third acquisition of a tile business within the last three years.

David Forbes, Chief Executive Officer commented: "We are delighted to have acquired the assets of Colchester Tile Supplies. We look forward to working with their experienced team in taking the business forward with both their existing and new customers. Despite difficult trading conditions within the last few years, the Nicholls & Clarke Group have continued to expand and look for opportunities within the tile industry."
