Victor Manufacturing Appoint Sales Manager For The South West Region

Construction News Image
Victor Manufacturing has recently appointed Matthew Walrond as sales manager for the South West region.

Andrew Gibson, sales director of Victor, said: "Matt has a solid working knowledge and experience of catering sales and the food service market. He comes to us from a regional food wholesaler and prior to that he worked for Unilever. Before that he was with a catering equipment distributor in the South West."

Walrond takes over the reins from Phil Kirby who retires at the end of August following 20 years of service with Victor and a career spanning more than 40 years service to the catering equipment manufacturing and supply industry.

"We have been planning the handover to Matt for some time, I therefore expect a seamless transition with no interruption to the service we provide to our customers," said Gibson.

The new appointment comes hot on the heels of Victor’s announcement of a £300,000 investment in new machinery at its Bradford plant to improve production and allow the company to expand into new markets.

Walrond will take over Phil's mobile phone number of 07799 435362 later this month, and his e-mail address is matt.walrond@victormanufacturing.co.uk
