The Eastern region of affordable housing developer and regeneration specialist Lovell has received a nationally recognised accreditation for working with its supply chain partners to promote best practice in equality and diversity.
The Equality Accreditation in Supplier Management – awarded by specialist accreditation provider Equality Accreditation Services – recognises the company's commitment to ensuring that its supply chain partners understand their rights and their responsibilities in relation to Equality Law and enables suppliers to gain equality accreditation in their own right.
Lovell in Eastern has two main offices; one in the City West Office Park, Gelderd Road, Leeds and one at Thorpe Road, Norwich – which holds the Gold standard Committed 2 Equality accreditation for its own diversity and equality practices.
Lovell Regional Director Tony Tann said: "Ensuring that our supply chain partners share our commitment to equality and diversity is key to our continuing success in providing clients and customers with the highest standards of service. We are delighted to be working with our suppliers to help their own equality programmes gain accreditation through Equality Accreditation Services."
