Affordable housebuilder and refurbishment specialist Lovell has announced £12.5m worth of new contract wins for its refurbishment team.
Lovell will begin work in September with WM Housing Group on a project to provide external wall insulation and associated works to more than 700 homes in Coventry.
This £5m project is part-funded by the Energy Company Obligation (ECO) scheme. The work will be completed in just six months.
The company has also won a major external refurbishment project with Sandwell Homes. This will involve work on four occupied tower blocks in Sandwell and is worth around £7.5m. This project also begins in September and will last approximately 80 weeks.
David Gough, regional director of Lovell, commented: "After a strong few months, we were determined to maintain our momentum in the region so winning these new contracts is very important to the company and comes as a result of a lot of hard work from the team. We are looking forward to getting started on the projects and doing a highly professional job for both WM and Sandwell Homes."
