The annual charity golf event organised by Cardiff housing developer and regeneration specialist Lovell has celebrated its 20th anniversary by raising a record-equalling £12,000.
Gail Griffiths of Bobath Children's Therapy Centre Wales presents Gemma Davies and Meurig Jones from Lovell with a special picture to commemorate the golf day's 20th anniversary.
The money has been shared by charities Shelter Cymru, Wales's people and homes charity; Bobath Children's Therapy Centre Wales, which provides specialist physiotherapy, occupational therapy and speech and language therapy to children in Wales who have cerebral palsy; Cancer Research Wales and Ty Hafan children's hospice.
Over its 20-year history, the golf day has now notched up around £70,000 for Welsh charities thanks to the support of Lovell staff members, clients, suppliers and consultants. The £12,000 raised this year equalled 2012's record total.
Lovell regional director David Gough said: "This is a huge achievement in the current economic climate and I would like to give our heartfelt thanks to everyone who has ensured the golf day continues to be such a success, either by entering a team, donating a prize or contributing in another way. This year's event was another fantastic occasion which everyone greatly enjoyed."
