Seddon Announces Three New Appointments

Seddon has announced three new senior business appointments.

Seddon has appointed Michael Crawford as technical manager. He has joined the company from Lend Lease Project Management where he was senior design manager. In his new role with Seddon, he heads up the company's technical approach nationally, from pre-construction to completion and is responsible for the development and integration of design management procedures. Michael's previous career has included working as design manager for Interserve. He is a member of the Chartered Institute of Building.

Craig Edgar has been appointed head of quality, compliance and environmental for Seddon. He was previously a safety, health, environment and quality consultant working with power and automation technology specialist ABB and has extensive experience in health and safety, environmental and quality management in major organisations, including working as a safety, health, environmental and quality professional for Hadfield Wood Recyclers/UK Wood Recycling, Atkins Ltd, Carillion, Alfred McAlpine Business Services and Royal and SunAlliance. He is a Chartered Member of the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health and a Member of the International Institute of Risk and Safety Management and the Association of Project Safety.

Gareth Roberts is the company's new supply chain manager. Gareth joins Seddon from Kier Services where he was best value manager. In his new role with Seddon, he will be responsible for the business's national supply chain strategy, using his expertise in overseeing procurement in the construction sector to work closely with the supply chain and ensure optimum performance. His career has also included working as supply chain director for fit out, housing and maintenance specialist Morris & Spottiswood.
