Infrastructure support services company Carillion has announced a joint venture agreement (JV) with energy solutions provider Breathe Energy.
Carillion Breathe Limited (CBL) provides energy efficiency solutions for public and private commercial buildings delivering benefits to building owners and managers including:
• Increased business profitability through reduced operating expenditure
• Reduced energy consumption
• Reduced Greenhouse Gas emissions
• Higher performance workspaces
• Increased market value of properties
The JV will draw on Breathe's significant track record of energy efficiency expertise in North America and the UK as well as building on Carillion's established presence in energy services, where it is already one of the UK's foremost Green Deal providers.
CBL delivers design and build renewal projects for schools, universities, hospitals and other public sector buildings as well as industrial and commercial facilities in the private sector.
The nationwide business is headquartered in London and is already managing projects in Birmingham, Manchester and other parts of the UK.
