Following the successful delivery of the £4m Church View Health Centre in South Kirkby, Miller Construction has been awarded a five year contract to provide Total Facilities Management services to the occupying clients.
Miller Construction completed the new primary care facility in April 2013 after less than a year on site. Now from its local office in Normanton, Miller's services division - Miller Asset 24 - will provide mechanical & electrical, cleaning and grounds maintenance to the West Yorkshire facility.
In securing this latest contract, Miller continues to expand its facilities management portfolio and demonstrates its capability to provide integrated end-to-end property services solutions.
Miller worked in partnership with Community Ventures and local doctors on the development and delivery of centre. Community Ventures provide a wide range of partnering services to develop, build and manage health and social care facilities to support public sector partners to deliver local health and community based services.
The purpose-built health centre acts primarily to facilitate the relocation of Stockingate Surgery and Little Lane Health Centre, serving the needs of the GP's respective patient population and the expected influx of additional new patients following the on-going regeneration and housing developments in the area.
