The Repairs and Maintenance division of national housing specialist Lovell, has secured a Gold safety award from national charity, the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA).
The accolade for the Repairs and Maintenance business – which is based locally in Woodgate Valley, recognises its continuing commitment to health and safety in its operations across the UK. The RoSPA Occupational Health and Safety awards are based on companies' accident records and overall health and safety management systems.
The Gold award was presented in a ceremony at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole Hotel at the National Exhibition Centre, Birmingham.
RoSPA's awards manager David Rawlins says: "RoSPA firmly believes that organisations that demonstrate commitment to continuous improvement in accident and ill health prevention deserve recognition. Lovell Repairs and Maintenance has shown that it is committed to striving for such continuous improvement and we are delighted to honour it through the presentation of an award."
