Local construction businesses can find out about work opportunities being created through a major estate regeneration programme by attending an event organised by affordable housing developer Lovell on Friday, 14 June, in King's Lynn.
Lovell is looking for supply chain partners to work on the four-year Hillington Square regeneration scheme for Freebridge Community Housing.
Work will start this summer on the extensive programme which will include kitchen and bathroom replacements for the King’s Lynn estate’s 320 flats, window and door renewals and insulation work. The scheme also covers the replacement of external cladding, rebuilding of balconies and walkways, construction of new staircases, installation of secure entrances and new lifts and remodelling of garages.
Lovell construction manager Michael Saunders said: "The Hillington Square programme will create significant work opportunities locally and this event is designed to enable new and existing members of our supply chain to find out more about the scheme.
"People just need to turn up on the day to find out more and speak to our site team who will be on hand to talk about the project and answer any questions."
The free event will take place between 10am and 5pm on Friday, 14 June, at the Hillington Square Community Centre, Hillington Square, King’s Lynn PE30 5HX.
